What type of drill bit should I use for drilling through tiles?

When drilling through tiles cover the positioning of where the hole is required with masking tape and then mark the position on the tape.

Use a triangular tip drill bit designed for tiles and keep a constant speed as slowing down and starting again may cause chips.

When through the tile change to a multipurpose drill bit to drill the remaining depth to avoid damage to the tile drill bit.
