How do you measure for Temporary Blinds?

If the blinds is covering the whole recess the measure the width and drop of the recess in 3 places and choose the size that is larger.

If you are covering each glass pane then measure the width and drop of the glass and select a size that is larger. Remember as they are formed from paper one blind can be cut to cover more than one pane of glass.

What colour temporary blinds do you stock?

We stock Instershades in Blackout, White, Grey, Cream, Cafe and Chocolate.

The Blackout and White Temporary Blinds are also available in a larger size.

Grey is our best seller as it is a very neutral colour.

Are Temporary Blinds suitable for Skylight Windows?

Temporary Blinds are NOT suitable for Skylight Windows as they are only designed to be hung Vertically within 10 degrees

How do you fit Instershade temporary blinds?

Measure the recess or glass pane at its narrowest point.
Cut the paper shades to the correct width using a pair of scissors or a sharp knife to.
Peel off the backing to the adhesive strip.
Stick the blind in place.

How do I measure for a new blind?

Firstly use a metric measuring tape and record all of the measurements in mm as they are more accurate to communicate.

Measure the width in 3 places, top, middle and bottom. If there are any narrow points in the recess then ensure that is one of the points used.

Measure the drop in 3 places, left, middle and right.

Now enter the smallest width and the shortest drop into the measurement options on our website and select recess size.

Thats it, the manufacturer will make the industry standard adjustments to make your blind.
