Roller Blind Fabric Run Off
When fixing Roller Blinds be careful they are fitted level or some Fabric Run Off can be created, if not resolved it can damage to blind.
This is where the fabric moves sideways on the tube as it rolls up and can cause the fabric to become damaged.
- It is unadvisable to buy a Roller Blinds that is more than where the drop is more than 2.5x the drop, as this substantially increases the chance of the fabric running off.
- When selecting fabrics for a Roller Blind try to avoid very thick fabrics as they are not very limp and may not roll up evenly.
- When fixing Roller Blinds ensure they are relatively level as gravity will then help hold the fabric straight and taught when they are rolled up.
If you have followed these tips and you still have an issue there are two fallbacks.
- Unroll the fabric completely and stick a piece of masking tape on the tube to alter the way it is rolling, this may take a bit of trial and error.
- If that has not worked then the only other alternative is to manually dress the blind then rolling it up by gently pulling the bottom bar straight.
“Live Chat”
The Team all have a great knowledge of the products through years of both measuring and fitting the products we sell.
We have a “Live Chat” system running so you can ask questions live to assist you in making decisions. Manning the “Live Chat” system is an experienced member of the team whom has fitted many blinds and has a wealth of knowledge to share.
We DO NOT use sales people to man our “Live Chat” and do not pay commission to encourage them to drive sales, just give great advice.
