Wooden Venetian Blind Top Tips

Wooden Venetian Blind Top Tips

If it is a heavy blind put one of the top fix brackets around 300-400mm from the side bracket on the side of the raise and lower as that will be the side that takes the weight of the blind when it is raised.

Be careful not to put a top fix bracket directly in the centre if there are an odd number of cords or tapes as one will be in the middle of the blind.

If its a White Blind you can use a White Acrylic Pen to touch up any visible splinters.

With Stained Blinds you can use some touch up stain, but do ensure that you use a lighter colour and try it on the back of the Pelmet where it can not be seen first.

Apply the Stain with a clean cotton cloth and apply evenly in continuous wipes.

“Live Chat”

The Team all have a great knowledge of the products through years of both measuring and fitting the products we sell.

We have a “Live Chat” system running so you can ask questions live to assist you in making decisions. Manning the “Live Chat” system is an experienced member of the team whom has fitted many blinds and has a wealth of knowledge to share.

We DO NOT use sales people to man our “Live Chat” and do not pay commission to encourage them to drive sales, just give great advice.

Ask us your questions, where possible include a photo, they say a 1000 words.

We also have a twitter feed that covers some of our inspiration ideas and top tips @DBlindsCurtains.
