Wooden Venetian Blind Pelmets

Wooden Venetian Blind Pelmets

Occasionally you may need to trim the wooden pelmet on Wooden Venetian Blinds.

Remember, Measure twice as you can cut only once.

Use a fine toothed saw for a clean cut and ensure the saw exits the back of the pelmet as this is where it is likely to splinter.

Always cut through the front of the Pelmet so that any splinters are on the back.

When joining returns if it is placed outside of a recess or in a bay use and angled mitre saw to ensure you get the correct angle. When attaching the returns a 2 part mitre adhesive is a neat finish just don’t put the glue too near the front edge of the pelmet.

“Live Chat”

The Team all have a great knowledge of the products through years of both measuring and fitting the products we sell.

We have a “Live Chat” system running so you can ask questions live to assist you in making decisions. Manning the “Live Chat” system is an experienced member of the team whom has fitted many blinds and has a wealth of knowledge to share.

We DO NOT use sales people to man our “Live Chat” and do not pay commission to encourage them to drive sales, just give great advice.

Ask us your questions, where possible include a photo, they say a 1000 words.

We also have a twitter feed that covers some of our inspiration ideas and top tips @DBlindsCurtains.
